SUSAN HUNT, PSY.D

Hi.  I’m Susan and I am a Licensed Psychologist in Pennsylvania with over 25 years experience in the field.  

 I attended Villanova University for my Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology and received my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. I have experience in a variety of settings including working in the community with children and families in Philadelphia, in schools, outpatient counseling centers and medical settings working with individuals coping with chronic illness. I provide individual therapy with teens, adults and senior adults and treat a variety of issues like anxiety, including OCD, social anxiety and panic, depression, healing from trauma, improving relationships or work issues and managing life transitions.

The most important thing to me is to create a space that is safe, empowering and collaborative. Primarily, the lens I use to help us think about things and solve issues together is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), but I also use a variety of tools; including solution focused techniques and DBT skills to help understand problems and learn effective strategies to address them.
